bridal ideas: pretty paper invitations

Saturday, November 27, 2010

One of my favorite things to do is to collect images of pretty paper goods and there's nothing quite as pretty as wedding invitations! I love traditional wedding invitations that have a unique twist or even better, DIY ones made by the bride and groom themselves! I can't wait to share my own invitations with you that I designed for my wedding last summer but in the meanwhile, here are some lovely inspirations that I've found.

and what a perfect little box to hold them in

Not sure if I commented this or not yet, but I absolutely adore your blog. I lived in France (Angers, Paris and Nice) last summer and I miss it a lot.

how fantastic that Paris received snow yesterday. Snow is so lovely until it turns to slush. The first time it snowed this month my sisters and I ran outside screaming out heads of and catching snowflakes on our tongues. But the next day all three of us got the sniffles. The sniffles were unfortunate but the experience by five your old sister had was amazing.

Oh I love weddings...and wedding photos...and of course the invites! These days, with printing and design technology right in our own homes, it's a wonder! There is something so wonderfully personal about knowing that the bride and groom put a small piece of them into the creation of their invitations. These are so unique and original...not a cookie cut design in the bunch!
love it!

can't wait to see yours!
